Elegant Black and White Wedding Cake

 This elegant white and black cake design was adorned by the beautiful handmade anemones.  The venue was beautifully decorated with lime green table cloth and black and white damask runners on each table...just stunning!

Brown, Pink and Orange Baby Shower Cake

All these colors work so well together.  This beautiful design was chosen by Kerry Diaz for a baby shower.  I have created many cakes for her but this is my favorite.  Love how all the flowers and colors compliment each other.  Cake was yellow vanilla with cream cheese buttercream.

This grooms cake design was chosen by the bride.  Virginia Tech mascot was the focal point of this cake. Mascot was hand sculpted.  Cakes were chocolate with hazelnut buttercream and red velvet with cream cheese buttercream.

If  your little girl likes Minnie Mouse then this is the perfect cake for her.  Big ears and Big Bow really stand out on this cake.  It is also personalized with the birthday girls name.  Cake was yellow/vanilla with fresh strawberry filling and vanilla buttercream.

Mardi Gras Purple, Black and Silver

Purple, black and silver were the requested colors for this Mardi Gras birthday cake.  Mask and stars were  made out of gumpaste and handpainted.  Cakes were white with chocolate buttercream and chocolate with white chocolate buttercream.

Chinese lanterns and Cherry Blossoms decorate this fun and whimsical cake for a Quinceanera celebration.  The bright pink and orange reflect the youthful and fun personality of the birthday girl.  Cakes were red velvet with cream cheese buttercream and chocolate with vanilla buttercream.

1 - 11- 11 Wedding

Ok... So I've done a 10-10-10 wedding, now an 1-11-11 and waiting for the 12-12-12 wedding cake order.
Love how this cake turned out!  This was a last minute small wedding cake.  Customer wanted a black white and gold cake.  This cake design was inspired by a beautiful cake photo provided by customer.

Mardi Gras Sweet 16 Cake

This Mardi Gras fun and whimsical cake was the design of the Sweet 16 Birthday girl.  When we met she knew exactly what she wanted.  She brought in an amazing sketch of her cake and honestly made my job a lot easier. They absolutely loved it!...and so did I.  All details on the cake were made out of gumpaste (for the exception of the feathers).  Cake flavor was white and alternating filling of fresh strawberries and creamy vanilla buttercream. 

Fashionista Birthday Cake

I was asked to create a cake with a shoe, lipstick, pearls, etc. and colors requested were brown and aqua.  I am really happy the way this cake turned out.  It says girly, fashion and class.  Cake flavor is yellow vanilla with alternating layers of pineapple and creamy vanilla buttercream filling.

It's all about major designers on Alexa's Sweet 16 Cake. Betsy Demirjian wanted something special for her daughter so she decided on incorporating Alexa's favorite things on a cake. Fun to make, love all the bright and lively colors and perfect for the occasion. Cakes were chocolate with creamy vanilla buttercream.
