It was truly a pleasure working with Kay Zaccagnino from Pahokee, Florida. The cake that Kay selected is for her Mother's Birthday Party. 
She wanted a cake with pink flowers and green detail. The beautiful flowers are made of gumpaste. Cakes are yellow and chocolate with chocolate filling. Cakes and cake board are covered in fondant.Thank you Kay!

I have to say that I "bonded" with Maylene immediately! Not only is she a wonderful person, she is an amazing artist! She knew exactly what I wanted even before I did! The party I was planning was for my 90 year old mother who absolutely loves pink! Roses are her favorite flower, so it only stood to reason to set the theme as "pink roses"...Maylene took this theme and ran with it. I put all the control in her hands and she created a beautiful piece of art! I hated cutting it! My mother was so pleased, and everyone at the party RAVED over the cake. All the business cards were gone within a few minutes. Thankfully, I added a cake table card with Maylene's website address, so the guests could jot down her name and information.
This was the first time I've ever ordered a cake of this type, and it won't be the last time...I will continue to work with Maylene for all my special events! What a special person...very intuitive, as well as creative! I can't say enough! Great experience, and the cake was super-yummy!!!
Oh! and the cake board! I forgot to mention that extra....when Maylene told me that she also decorated a cake board to match the cake, I couldn't believe it. I couldn't imagine what the cake looked like, so when I saw it on Sunday, Feb. 15th, I couldn't believe how beautiful it actually was. The cake board just added to the overall beauty of the cake! Maylene is amazing! I don't know of anyone who goes to that extreme when delivering a cake! KUDOS to Maylene! Great job!
